Over 9000 acres of carrots, parsnips and other cereal crops are grown under a combined operation by our dedicated farming and technical teams in Norfolk (Knights Farms), Scotland (Moray Coast Produce), and Spain (Knights of Spain), and growing partners in France gives us geographical spread and ensures continuity all year round.
The differing climates of Europe allow almost continuous production of the finest vegetables through the year. All crops are grown to the guidelines of NFU/Retail protocols, the aims of which are to produce quality crops whilst caring for the areas we grow them in.
We are passionate about carrots and can supply all basic to premium carrot types – bunched, mini carrots with tops, cut and peeled, whole peeled, coloured and many other prepared cuts..

Norfolk - Mid June to February
Sandy fertile soils ideal for growing carrots
through this period.
Seasonal
conditions favour this area i.e. warmer earlier summers for early
new season carrots.
The carrots from Norfolk are transported to our factory based 15 miles from Norwich
Scotland - August to May
Virgin sandy soils on the shores of Moray Firth.
Although only 20 miles
from the Highlands, land beside the Moray Firth experiences a unique
micro-climate - warmer than the freezing mountains nearby,
but cool enough to store carrots late into the season. We have our own washing and packing facility in Scotland which distributes to all UK depots.
